Guided safari by 4×4 to observe these animals in a completely open environment. The encounter takes place in a Sahelian semi-arid landscape, among acacias and scattered villages. The presence of giraffes here is not only naturalistic, but symbolic: they represent one of Niger\u2019s conservation success stories<\/span>
<\/span><\/p>\nAfternoon:<\/strong> continuation towards Dosso, an ancient center of Zarma power. Visit to the Sultan\u2019s Palace, still today a living symbol of traditional authority. Insight into local monarchical structures and the role that sultanates still play in contemporary society. Lunch stop along the route (Dogondoutchi area), in a rural context. Arrival in Konni in the late afternoon<\/span>

The traditional mosques and granaries tell the story of a millennial construction technique adapted to the extreme climate. A walk through the village to observe daily life: women busy grinding millet, children in Koranic schools, men gathered in the shade.<\/span>
<\/span><\/p>\nAfternoon:<\/strong> continuation towards Tahoua with stops in small villages along the road, coming into contact with local communities still deeply rooted in traditional structures. Arrival in Tahoua, a gateway city towards the northern desert.<\/span>

A UNESCO World Heritage site, Agadez preserves a historic center built entirely of banco, with labyrinthine alleys and fortified houses. First exploration of the old city.<\/span>

<\/span><\/p>\nAfternoon:<\/strong> meeting with members of the Tuareg community to understand the clan system, nomadism, and the social transformations of recent decades. Optional possibility of a short camel excursion in the surroundings of Agadez.<\/span>

Before the airport transfer, a short outing to the historic Birni district as the city slowly comes to life: markets opening, dyers beginning to work fabrics in traditional vats, and leather artisans preparing sandals and saddles. Transfer to the airport and domestic flight to Niamey. From above, one can sense the immensity of the Nigerien territory: a seemingly infinite expanse of ochre earth and sand that makes it clear how vast and sparsely populated this country is.<\/span>
<\/span><\/p>\nAfternoon:<\/strong> arrival in Niamey and transfer to the hotel. Time to rest after long days on the road. In the afternoon, a more in-depth visit to some of the capital’s popular neighborhoods to understand Niger’s contemporary urban dimension: informal markets, spice vendors, colorful wax fabrics, and scenes of daily life along the main arteries. A stop at the Grand March\u00e9 to observe the commercial vibrancy and the interaction between different ethnic groups living together in the capital.<\/span>
<\/span><\/p>\nEvening:<\/strong> final sunset on the banks of the Niger River. Dinner and, depending on flight schedules, overnight stay in Niamey or direct transfer to the airport.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n\nDAY 9 \u2013 Return to Italy<\/h3>\n\n
