One of the most enigmatic countries in the world, the least visited of the Central Asian \u201c-stans\u201d, an unmissable destination for travellers fascinated by the unusual and in search of bizarre places and surreal landscapes. In the megalomania of Ashgabat, the capital of white marble and gold, we will feel as if we have been catapulted into a parallel reality, with unmissable architectural oddities worthy of Guinness World Records in Ashgabat and the largest enclosed Ferris wheel in the world! Not only architecture, but also landscapes and archaeology: the stunning and little-known Yangykala Canyon and the UNESCO Sites of Nisa, once the capital of the Parthian Empire, and Merv, one of the most important oasis cities of Central Asia in the past. The conclusion of a journey in Turkmenistan is both necessary and unforgettable: a night in a tent at the Gate of Hell! We will camp on the edge of the surreal crater formed by the collapse of a natural gas cavern located in Darvaza, which is still active today.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

We will discover one of the least visited countries on Earth using every means of transport to gain a deeper insight into everyday life in Turkmenistan, stopping in various rural areas of the country that are still little accustomed to the presence of foreign travellers, to learn about local traditions and the renowned hospitality of Central Asia. The great adventure will begin on the sixth day, when aboard our 4×4 vehicles we will make our way through canyons and sand dunes of the Karakum Desert for a night of wild camping up to the Gate of Hell.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
