Sea and mountains, tradition and modernity, sacred and profane. Lebanon is a complex and layered land, surprisingly cosmopolitan yet marked by a recent history of conflicts and deep crises. A 9-day road trip that begins in Beirut, one of the most charismatic cities in the Middle East. Once described as the \u201cfirst Dubai.\u201d From the capital, the journey heads south, passing through the first Phoenician ports and then ascending into the inland mountains, home to Druze and Christian communities. The route continues into the Beqaa Valley, the country\u2019s agricultural heartland and an area severely affected by recent clashes, where the landscape tells the story of a Lebanon far from the spotlight. Before reaching Tripoli, the trip crosses the Qadisha Valley, with its steep canyons, cliffside monasteries, and cedar forests. After a stop in Batroun, between the coast and Mediterranean nightlife, the journey returns toward Beirut via Byblos, one of the oldest cities in the world, and Harissa, with panoramic views over the Lebanese coast. The trip ends in Beirut, with a deeper exploration of the city and a visit to the Shatila refugee camp, to understand one of the most complex chapters in the country\u2019s contemporary history.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
