Morning: <\/strong>transfer to the airport and flight Jeddah \u2013 Socotra (11:00 \u2013 14:00). Landing at Hadibo airport, meeting with local staff and drivers.<\/p>\nAfternoon: <\/strong>departure towards the eastern area of the island, crossing the first arid and lunar landscapes that make Socotra unique in the world. Arrival in the Ras Ersel area, overlooking the Indian Ocean. Set-up of the tented camp.<\/p>\nEvening: <\/strong>first sunset on the island, dinner and overnight in tents, under one of the clearest starry skies on the planet.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n\nDay 3: Arher \u2013 Hoq Cave \u2013 Homhill<\/h3>\n\n

Morning: <\/strong>Wake up at sunrise and depart for the dunes of Arher, one of the most iconic places in Socotra: an impressive white sand dune that flows directly into the ocean, next to a freshwater oasis. Time to explore the area and enjoy the morning light. Continue east and trek to Hoq Cave: hike to the entrance and then explore the inside of the limestone cave, over 3 km long, rich in stalactites, stalagmites, and underground pools.<\/p>\nAfternoon: <\/strong>Transfer to the protected area of Homhil, a barren and panoramic plateau. Hike to the famous natural infinity pool, suspended over the eastern coast of the island, with views of the ocean. Walk among incense trees and first sightings of the iconic dragon\u2019s blood tree, the ultimate symbol of Socotra.<\/p>\nEvening: <\/strong>Dinner and overnight in a tented camp in Homhil, immersed in the silence of the plateau.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n\nDay 4: Wadi Kalissan \u2013 Dagub Cave \u2013 Steroh Dunes<\/h3>\n\n

Morning: <\/strong>Departure towards the southern coast of the island. Stop and trek in Wadi Kalissan, famous for its emerald-colored natural pools carved into the limestone. Time to walk and swim.<\/p>\nAfternoon: <\/strong>Continue along dirt tracks to Dagub Cave, overlooking the ocean, and then arrive at the spectacular Steroh dunes, where the desert meets the sea in one of Socotra\u2019s most surreal landscapes.<\/p>\nEvening: <\/strong>Dinner and overnight in a tented camp on Steroh beach.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n\nDay 5: Steroh – Diksam – Fermhin – Wadi Dirhur<\/h3>\n\n

Morning: <\/strong>Wake up on the beach and depart towards the mountainous interior of the island. Ascend the Diksam plateau, with spectacular views over deep gorges and the arid central plateau.<\/p>\nAfternoon: <\/strong>Visit to the Fermhin forest, the area with the highest concentration of dragon\u2019s blood trees in the world, an iconic and almost surreal landscape. Walk among the trees and meet local shepherds. Descent to the Wadi Dirhur oasis, with its natural pools set among rocky cliffs. Time for relaxation and swimming.<\/p>\nEvening: <\/strong>Dinner and overnight in a tented camp on the Diksam plateau.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n\nDay 6: Qalansya – Shoab<\/h3>\n\n

Morning and afternoon: <\/strong>Transfer from Diksam to Qalansya (approx. 1.5 hours), a picturesque fishing village on the western coast. Board a local boat and sail to the remote Shoab beach (approx. 1 hour), accessible only by sea. Wild beach, turquoise water, and high cliffs. Possibility of dolphin sightings during the crossing. Free time in Shoab to explore and relax.<\/p>\nEvening:<\/strong>
Dinner and overnight in a tented camp near Shoab.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n\nDay 7: Qalansiya – Laguna di Detwah<\/h3>\n\n

Morning: <\/strong>Visit to the village of Qalansya, among fishing nets, boats, and daily life. Transfer to the Detwah lagoon, a protected marine area and one of the most photographed places in Socotra.<\/p>\nAfternoon: <\/strong>Free time in the lagoon: swimming in shallow, crystal-clear waters, walking along white sand spits, and relaxing in a completely untouched setting.<\/p>\nEvening: <\/strong>Dinner and overnight in a tented camp in Detwah.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n\nDay 8\u20139: Return to Italy<\/h3>\n\n
