A journey along one of the most iconic and powerful rivers on the planet, crossing three Amazonian countries and immersing in the wildest nature of South America. From the colonial houses of Iquitos, in the heart of the Peruvian Amazon, you will enter the extraordinary biodiversity of the Pacaya Samiria reserve, where among flooded forests and hidden channels it will be possible to spot pink dolphins, caimans and hundreds of species of birds. The journey then continues along the great river towards Colombia and Brazil, crossing river villages and indigenous communities where the rhythm of life is still dictated by nature. The heart of the adventure will be navigation along the Amazon River: four days on a traditional Brazilian boat, observing life flowing along the banks of the largest river in the world. The journey ends in Manaus, an Amazonian metropolis in the middle of the forest, where the Rio Negro meets the Amazon River creating the famous Encuentro de las Aguas<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

An adventure through the wonders of the Pantanal, the largest wetland ecosystem on the planet. Between river safaris and nature walks, we will explore an extraordinary world inhabited by jaguars, caimans, capybaras and hundreds of species of tropical birds. Immersed in the most authentic nature of Brazil, each day will offer surprising encounters and fiery sunsets reflected in the endless waters of this wild and untouched land.<\/p>\n

For many, a trip to the Amazon translates into a lodge stay and excursions in the vicinity of Manaus. For us, instead, it is a true tribute to the Amazon River, a journey that unfolds entirely by river, navigating for more than 2,000 km along the slow and relentless waters of the world\u2019s most iconic river. We will experience a complete immersion in the Amazonian mood, a corner of the world steeped in myths and legends, where nature is in command and humans must adapt to its ancestral laws.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Rio de Janeiro extension<\/span><\/h2>\n

After a total immersion in the Amazon jungle, the journey completely changes pace and scenery: we move to Rio de Janeiro, one of the most iconic and scenic cities on the planet. Here nature does not disappear, but transforms: mountains rising directly from the ocean, urban forest, legendary beaches and one of the most recognizable skylines in the world. Rio is not just a city to visit, but a place to experience, where each neighborhood tells a different story. We go up Sugarloaf Mountain to read the city\u2019s geography from above, reach Christ the Redeemer, symbol of Brazil, and enter more authentic contexts such as the Rocinha favela, to truly understand local urban dynamics. The active component is also present: panoramic hikes such as Pedra da G\u00e1vea or Dois Irm\u00e3os allow you to experience Rio from a physical perspective as well, between jungle and ocean. It is an extension that completes the journey in Brazil by adding an urban, cultural and landscape dimension that is completely different, yet equally intense.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Intensive itinerant journey aboard private and public boats. Trekking in the rainforest with high humidity levels is included, with nights spent in hammocks in the jungle, in huts within indigenous settlements, three nights on a slow boat and 1 night on a speedboat (seat accommodation), all of which require a strong spirit of adaptability.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
