IRAN IN WINTER
A fundamental crossroads along the Eastern trade routes, Iran is the proud cradle of one of the greatest civilizations in human history. We will discover the timeless charm of ancient Persia, from the domes of Kashan to the architectural masterpieces of Shiraz and Isfahan, whose beauty will take our breath away. We will then push along the ancient Silk Roads to the east, with a night as caravanners in a magnificent caravanserai, a prelude to the magic of a night in a tent in the Kaluts, the heart of the Dasht-e Lut—the hottest desert and one of the most beautiful in the world. Last but not least, the magical multicolored world of Hormuz!
The BHS touch
We will travel beyond classic Iran: past Yazd, the crossroads of the deserts, we will venture into the remote regions of the Dasht-e Lut and the Persian Gulf. Here, we will experience a different Iran, characterized by vast and wonderful landscapes that rival the beauty of the celebrated architectural wonders of Shiraz and Isfahan. We will move around in our rental cars and stay in elegant traditional hotels, thus combining the charm of a road trip with the comfort and boutique style typical of BHS.
