SOCOTRA
Socotra is often described as a desert island or a lost paradise, but such definitions hardly capture its uniqueness. What truly makes the island extraordinary is its long geographical isolation, which has allowed the development of endemic animal and plant species with surreal forms, such as the famous dragon’s blood tree and the bottle tree, giving the landscape an almost otherworldly appearance. Empty beaches among the most spectacular on Earth, immense white sand dunes, canyons, and colourful valleys dotted with natural pools and remote villages create an environment capable of offering unforgettable images and experiences.
The BHS touch
This will not be a luxury journey. Outside Hadibo there are no hotels and electricity is limited. The experience is designed to explore the island in an essential and authentic way, camping in tents in remote and untouched areas. One of the most memorable moments of the trip will be the night spent on Shoab Beach, reachable only by boat: a completely isolated stretch of sand, without villages or infrastructure, where the night is accompanied solely by the sound of the waves and the star-filled sky. An intense and unfiltered way to discover Socotra in its purest form.
