Stefano La Torre, known as “My Friend”, is a traveller who explores the world mainly by bicycle.

Over the years, he has collected extraordinary experiences: he has completed the Camino de Santiago twice, hitchhiked from Eastern Europe to Morocco, cycled across Europe, travelled up Africa from South Africa to Djibouti, and ridden from the Middle East to Japan via the Himalayas.

His journey also stems from the world of food. Graduated in Gastronomic Sciences, he has gained several years of experience as a pizza chef and panzerotti maker, working in his family pizzeria in Foggia and in countries such as England, Australia, Spain, and Sweden. For him, food is a universal language, a simple and authentic way to meet people and share moments wherever he goes.

Today he is preparing his next great adventure: crossing the Americas by bicycle, from Alaska to Ushuaia.
