Administration Generalist

Description

As part of the repositioning and strengthening of our brand, we are immediately looking for an Administration Generalist. In this role within our company, you will be responsible for administrative activities across different areas: customer care, booking, and taxation, supporting the various stages of the acquisition, booking, sales, and after-sales processes.

The essential requirements for this role are:

  • attention to detail
  • independence and, at the same time, ability to work in a team
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • knowledge of the English language

Skills

We are open to considering both a motivated, dynamic young candidate able to perform the tasks described below, as well as a person with 5–6 years of experience in administrative roles within any company.

Social Media Manager

Description

As part of the repositioning and strengthening of our brand and online channels, we are immediately looking for a social media manager. In this role within our company, you will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and developing our social media channels, supporting the team in promoting and spreading the BHS TRAVEL brand.

The essential requirements for this role are:

  • a passion for travel
  • independence and, at the same time, the ability to work in a team
  • proactivity through proposals, ideas, and especially solutions
  • ability to work in an objective-oriented way and willingness to work outside standard 9–5 Monday–Friday hours

Skills

We are open to considering both a motivated, dynamic young candidate able to perform the tasks described below, as well as a person with 5–6 years of experience managing social media channels for tourism companies or media agencies.

Education and career path

A relevant field of study or previous work experience in this area are, of course, highly valued characteristics.

Social media

In-depth knowledge of major social media platforms, online research and analytics tools, Google Ads, and Google Analytics.

Communication

Strong linguistic, spelling, and communication skills enabling clear communication in Italian and English, in order to build and develop positive relationships with the online community.

Organization

Ability to organize time and work, to systematize workflows into procedures, independently after an initial training period.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Manage, monitor, and develop Facebook and Instagram accounts
  • Create, manage, and develop a strategy for YouTube, LinkedIn, Telegram, and any other profiles or channels we may open in the future
  • Create, manage, and monitor marketing campaigns via Google Ads and Google Analytics
  • Understand and implement SEO and SEM strategies
  • Design and develop online marketing strategies and campaigns aligned with the brand philosophy
  • Foster a sense of community around the brand by interacting, monitoring, and identifying opportunities through communication with fans, followers, other brands, and influencers
  • Develop and manage a highly relevant social media editorial calendar for the brand

Coordinator

Description

He is the leader and travel companion! He is the image of BHS before-during-after the trip! He is a person who believes in BHS and in its future “beyond travel”

Being a BHS coordinator is very challenging. We are very demanding and require compliance with company rules and philosophy, while still allowing some decision-making autonomy to the coordinator!

The coordinator will be the reference figure from the beginning to the end of the trip for the BHS management team, for the customer, and for third parties (e.g. hotels, car rentals, airlines, guides,…) who will provide the services included in the trip

Our coordinators have an exclusive relationship with us and are an integral part of the team!

Roles and responsibilities

Before the trip

Carefully studies the travel itinerary and shares any points of attention, doubts, and/or alternatives with management

Takes charge of the relationship with travelers 2/3 weeks before departure, answering questions and concerns

Contacts guides, accommodations, restaurants, rentals, and handles flight check-ins

Promotes the trip and the brand on their social channels

During the trip

Has fun and makes the group have fun! Stays with the group at all times, even during free time if someone requests it!

Manages all travel services: hotel stays, relations with guides, restaurant booking and check-in, car rental and drop-off, use of local transportation

Is in constant contact (where possible) with the BHS management team, providing daily feedback on group status and service quality and sending useful material for sharing the trip on official BHS social channels

After the trip

Provides a written report to management according to BHS standards

Maintains contact with travelers, promoting new BHS trips

Skills

  • In-depth geographical knowledge
  • Knowledge of English (mandatory), other languages are appreciated
  • Ability to manage multiple complex situations in non-industrialized countries
  • Strong social and empathy skills
  • Ability to be a leader, a follower (when needed), and always a travel companion
  • Loyalty to the BHS brand

What we offer

The collaboration between BHS and coordinators can take different forms depending on the number of trips coordinated per year and the availability to coordinate the same destination multiple times
