MALI

A mythical land straddling the scorching sands of the Sahara and the flourishing savannah of the Sahel, Mali is one of Africa’s brightest jewels. This will be a unique journey to discover a country as splendid as it is fragile, accompanied by an expert local team. From Bamako, a typically dusty and chaotic African capital, we will set out to discover the wonders of Mali, from Segou, capital of the Bambara kingdom, to the fishing villages on the Niger River, savoring the centuries-old traditions of the Mandingo people, before being left speechless by the spectacle of the San Mosque, a sort of miniature Djenné Mosque.

ITINERARY and SAFETY

In consideration of the safety situation in the country, the itinerary is designed to ensure visits to the greatest number of sites/locations in territories where a good standard of security can be guaranteed.

Mali’s internal security situation is extremely volatile, and the list of regions considered safe can change in a very short time. Therefore, the itinerary may undergo variations in the weeks preceding the trip and even during the trip itself, if local representatives deem it necessary.
