SVALBARD
WINTER

Svalbard on the road… or rather, on the snow! A breathtaking self-drive snowmobile itinerary, accompanied by qualified guides, to discover the northernmost lands of our planet. A true expedition, like real pioneers, towards the most remote and wild corners of the archipelago: from Longyearbyen, the “capital” with just over 2000 inhabitants, we will drive under the midnight sun through secluded valleys swept by the Arctic wind and massive glaciers, and we will sleep in Pyramiden, an ancient Soviet outpost where time has stood still: among ice, statues of Lenin, and incredible stories of miners, we will relive an anachronistic, incredible slice of the USSR in the third millennium!

The BHS touch

Our adventure in Svalbard is not for the faint-hearted: it unfolds through extreme, isolated, and mostly uninhabited landscapes. There is a very real possibility of encountering local wildlife, particularly the infamous polar bear: our guides, backed by years of experience, will always keep watch over the group and are equipped with rifles to repel potential bear attacks, as required by local law.
