GREENLAND

Immense, remote, and fascinating, Greenland, the largest island in the world, is the true ruler of the Arctic. Moving with domestic flights and scenic boat trips through the fjords, we will discover the west coast, where the ice, during the summer months, gives respite to the indigenous Inuit communities, which flourish along with the landscape. But while summer is the perfect season for trekking along the Sisimiut coast, ice remains the undisputed king of our journey in Greenland: the immense wall of the Russell Glacier in Kangerlussuaq and the incredible expanse of floating icebergs in Disko Bay, off the coast of Ilulissat, offer a marvelous, dazzling sight that will leave us enthralled.

The BHS touch

In addition to the great classics of the west coast, our trip to Greenland will offer an extra thrill: we will set off on an expedition into the remote lands north of Ilulissat, featuring a guided trek and an overnight stay in a tent on the spectacular Eqi Glacier. And, if a night amidst the ice isn’t for you, equally exciting outings await—from kayaking among icebergs under the midnight sun to exhilarating helicopter flights!
